AnthoMax
What Is AnthoMax?
AnthoMax is a power-packed combination of Catocyanic
Complex®, a unique fermented bilberry extract standardized
to contain 18% aglycon anthocyanidins (anthocyans), and
Antho 50®, a concentrated 50% anthocyanoside bilberry
extract, providing enhanced antioxidant protection for
eye, vascular, circulatory and cellular health.*
Features of AnthoMax Include
• Catocyanic Complex, a highly active fermented fraction
of bilberry ( Vaccinium myrtillus) fruit with more than 60
supporting studies.*
• A novel fermentation process for Catocyanic Complex,
forming and concentrating the aglycons cyanidin,
delphinidine, petunidine, peonidine and malvidine while
preserving their highly nutritive and active properties.*
• Enhanced stability, bioavailability and vascular permeability
protection.*
• Antho 50, a purified, enhanced potency bilberry extract
concentrated to deliver 50% anthocyanosides.*
• Additional Antho 50 compounds of interest, including
quercetin, quercetin 3 glucuronide, myricetin and
chlorogenic acid.*
Uses For AnthoMax
Leg Vein Health And Fluid Balance:
Only recently made
available in the US, Catocyanic Complex has been utilized
in France and Germany as a key source of phenolic
compounds used primarily for supporting venous tone,
the appearance of leg veins, and healthy fluid balance.
These effects are associated with the ability of Catocyanic
Complex to maintain the integrity of collagen and blood
vessel walls, moderate elastase enzyme activity, support
healthy capillary permeability and resistance and
promote circulation, including capillary, venular, and
lymphatic flow.
The antioxidant properties of Antho 50
also provide powerful support for vascular integrity and
leg vein health.*
Retinal Health:
In addition, Catocyanic Complex promotes
the synthesis of rhodopson, a compound that promotes
light perception and healthy night vision. In fact, it is the
original extract used in the Royal Air Force pilot study.
Studies indicate the potential for this complex to maintain
retina blood vessel integrity, microcirculation, and overall
retina health. Preliminary clinical studies also suggest that
Catocyanic Complex supports healthy light refraction,
helping to maintain overall ocular function. Furthermore,
the antioxidant compounds of Antho 50 enhance visual
acuity and retina protection.*
Cardiovascular Support:
A recent study performed on
Catocyanic Complex indicated antioxidant protection
of lipoproteins, suggesting a main mechanism for its
cardioprotective properties.*
Cellular Health:
Studies indicate that bilberry extract
concentrated with anthocyanins may promote healthy cell
function, and has demonstrated a greater potential
compared to other edible berries.*
